The QXPB1690 Gates Quadpower Belt manufactured by Gates has a top width of 17mm, an inside length of 1630mm, and an outside length of 1712mm.
With precision-ground sidewalls to give a uniform wedging action, Quadpower Belts are the most powerful belt in our V Belt range. They have a raw edge construction with a narrow cross-section and an optimised notch profile to reduce and evenly distribute thermal and bending stresses.
A fibre-loaded elastomeric compound allows Quadpower Belts to withstand heat buildup, even with severe slippage and offers improved cord support by utilising cross-cords. Using such a high-performance belt is cost-effective in the long run as pulley costs will be reduced, along with frequently replacing worn belts.
Flex-bonded polyester tensile cords are vulcanised as one solid unit to increase the belt's resistance to tensile and flexing forces and the double Flex-Weave textile backing protects the belt from usual wear and tear, especially when back idlers are used.
