Jaw Couplings
A jaw coupling is a type of motion control coupling that is designed to transmit force, while damping vibratory motions. A jaw coupling has three parts: two metallic hubs and an elastomer insert or spiders. The performance of a jaw coupling can be customised according to requirements. The spiders are available in three durometers; the 85 shore A for maximum dampening, the 92 Shore A for balanced dampening and the 98 Shore A for a small amount of dampening. Jaw couplings also allow the inch and metric hubs to be easily combined to form a single coupling.
