Polyflex Belts
Polyflex Belts are exceptional for applications in situations where standard V Belts are not sufficient, especially when it involves greater speeds. Specialised manufacturing methods enable Polyflex Belts to be smaller than traditional V Belts and it may seem that the trade-off for this is their durability. In fact, they are significantly stronger thanks to the materials used in their manufacture.
The polyurethane compound used in Polyflex Belt construction allows for greater durability and efficiency, while also being environmentally friendly. This robust material also allows the Polyflex Belts to handle vibrations and a wider range of temperatures ranging from -54°C up to +85°C. Used essentially for high-speed and high temperature applications, these belts are much lighter and have steeper angles. Polyflex Belts reduce the stress on your belt cords used in a V Pulley.
