Fitting onto shafts with grooves and providing a large shoulder on a relatively small diameter, E-Clips are the most common form of radially fitted Circlips.
E-Clips can be stacked onto rods for use with applicators and dispensers for easy and rapid installation, which in turn can result in assembly cost being reduced greatly. Only the groove size is critical with E-Clips, the shaft diameter can be widely varied.
